Overview

The Adobe Creative Suite comprises different pieces of software, in that  Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is the king of designing tool.

Photoshop: The software provides many image editing features. A layer-based editing system that enables image creation and altering with multiple overlays that support transparency. Layers can as a filters, altering underlying colors. Shadows and other effects can be added to the layers.

Illustrator: Illustrator is a vector drawing program. It is used for cartoons, diagrams, charts and logos. This can be used to re-color or create a sketch-like appearance of a photograph.

InDesign: InDesign is purely a page layout program, you can create flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, and books. You can also bring together all your artwork from Illustrator and Photoshop to create multiple page spreads and layouts.
