You may be required to attend Functional Skills workshops for Maths and English depending on your previous achievements. Workshops are approx. 2 hours per week and are available at various times at both college campuses. An e-learning route is also available if you are unable to attend college.
Your employer plays a huge part in the apprenticeship process as this is where you will spend the majority of your time and where you will get the 'hands on' working experience. Your manager will ensure that you get appropriate 'on the job' training and support and will ensure that you have the opportunity to carry out relevant workplace activities.
