We will take you through the composition which is a collection of layers and add more data to the composition. During this lecture we will import the scene, do the color correction on the existing footage, work on the blending modes; most importantly we focus on the hard light blending mode and continue to explore the blend mode to gain perfect color corrected footage we intended to have. The section is concluded after the final lecture about the background color which you will use as the background of the composition.

Section 3: Character Masking

We will start the section by introducing you to the Masking features and get into the practical application of Masking on various elements. First, we start with Masking Characters which is most common practice while adding animation to text and creating motion graphics. The subject is explained in depth as it continues further in three lectures entirely.

Next, we will start applying the Mask on images. We work on an exercise file to Mask a Van and get along with a couple of lectures on the same subject. Finally, you will know the techniques of rendering the Masking objects in the rendering lecture.
