Course Description

The Business Marketing Course provides perfect foundation knowledge about the global marketplace, including the main marketing principles that affect any business. Within the course content you will cover a number of key skill areas relevant to the marketing industry, including advertising, promotion and personal selling skills. This programme has been designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice of Business Marketing.

The objectives of the course are to conduct market research, define customers needs, wants and desires, carry out a SWOT analysis, prepare a marketing plan, describe a range of marketing methods, evaluate the benefits of using different marketing media, compose purposeful advertising copy, understand how to use press releases, promotions and public relations, define the selling process, devise a telephone sales campaign, list the benefits of keeping advertising records.

Upon completion of the Business Marketing course, students will have adopted the knowledge to prepare a marketing plan, evaluate the benefits of using different marketing media, list the benefits of keeping advertising records and conduct market research amongst many others.

Assessment

The certificate is gained by successfully completing a series of assignments together with an end of course multi-choice questionnaire.

Awarding Organisation

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement by ABC Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the details of all the units you have completed as part of your course).
The course has been endorsed under the ABC Awards’ Quality Licence Scheme.  This means that Kendal Publishing has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet certain quality criteria.  The completion of this course alone does not lead to an Ofqual regulated qualification but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills towards regulated qualifications in the future.  The unit summary can be used as evidence towards Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this sector.  To this end the learning outcomes of the course have been benchmarked at Level 2 against level descriptors published by Ofqual, to indicate the depth of study and level of difficulty involved in successful completion by the learner.
